Julie Selover
President & CEO

Originally from Iowa, Julie Selover, founder of Tour de Chicago, moved to Chicago in 1998 to continue employment with Amoco Oil Company as a Quality Analyst and Project Manager. Julie's move to Chicago resulted in a rather unsatisfactory orientation process with a local hired to assist in getting acclimated to Chicago. Julie dreamed of creating a company that catered to newly relocated Chicago residents that was personal, hands-on, and included information not familiar to someone new to the city including, CTA stations, neighborhood acclimation, and more. "It took me a full two years to really understand the many facets of the city that could have been presented early on to make me feel more at home, but I couldn't find a company that provided that kind of hands-on service. It was an exciting yet scary time." Julie is a graduate from DePaul University with a Bachelor's degree in Project Management.

Kim Callahan
Senior Manager

Also from Iowa, Kim graduated from the University of Iowa in 1992 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies. Kim moved to Chicago in 1994 and accepted a position as a Concierge for the newly renovated Tremont Hotel. Becoming a Concierge forced a quick acclimation to the city as hotel guests looked to her for information on what to do, where to go and how to get there. Kim's experience as a Concierge is critical to understanding the many layers of what Chicago has to offer. Now as the mother of a busy 3 year-old daughter, Kim can also provide a wealth of knowledge about parenting in Chicago.
